Did you know that UW-Platteville’s Karrmann Library offers many online services to distance learners? During Fall 2006, the library made available RefWorks, citation software for users to build bibliographies and a personal database of records. Off-campus students may obtain remote access to more than 100 databases. Many of these databases provide access to full journal articles.

This semester John Berg, the reference and circulation coordinator at Karrmann Library, will provide a webinar for distance students to learn more about library services. Webinar is short for web-based seminar – a presentation, lecture, workshop, or seminar that is transmitted over the web.

Stay tuned to the announcements on the UW-Platteville distance education home page to learn the date of this webinar. To learn about other library services available to distance learning students, visit the Karrmann Library's Distance Education Students page.
